Here are some data science and machine learning projects that I’ve explored during High School.

My goal is to develop more data-driven solutions to help communities build resilience against social and economic challenges.

Projects

Forecasting Household Energy Demands

A statistical model that forecasts household energy demand, promoting cost-efficient and sustainable energy use management

Optimizing Crop Yield and Land-Use

Hurricane Tweet Data Analysis

Machine learning model and Neural Network to predict crop yield and optimize land use based on extensive soil profile data. Addressing challenges to food insecurity and increasing global population

Machine learning model based on Google’s BERT, inteprets and classifies post-hurricane tweets to enable faster, targeted disaster response and aid distribution.

Evaluating Earthquake Building Damage for Underdeveloped Areas

Deep learning algorithm that analyzes satellite imagery data to assess level of building damage following earthquakes.

Provides a faster and more accurate method to inform resource prioritization and recovery efforts, particularly focusing on more vulnerable areas in rural regions
